We spent 2 nights here toward the end of 2 terrific weeks in Ireland. It was perfect perfect perfect for our needs at that point in the trip. Our hosts, Ita, Noel and their daughter, Isabelle were so welcoming. I'd injured my foot jumping around on the rocks in the burren and Rockyview turned out to be a lovely spot to just relax for a day. They've built a marvelous sunroom/breakfast room off the back of the house where we spent the day looking out at Noel's beautiful garden and the hills beyond. All the b & bs that we stayed in were very good...Thus it becomes the little things, sometimes subjective things that make a difference. These folks were interesting and willing to spend time sharing their world with us. We won't soon forget them or their place. We highly recommend Rockyview Farmhouse if you want peace and quiet for a night or two. Oh...they recommended a little nearby restaurant, Vasco's. Looks out on the ocean, delicious food and wine. We ate there both nights....a winner!

Perfect setting with fantastic views of the Burren. Wonderful hosts. Noel is a wealth of knowledge about the area. He took the time to provide me with directions for two hikes, both leaving right from the house, that turned out to be just incredible. The views from the breakfast table can't be beat. Although I was very pleased with all of the B&B's I stayed in on this trip, I'd have to say this one was the best!
